The Avon River Heritage Societies 12 annual Great Little Art Show opened Friday, April 23 with a wine and cheese reception. The creative works of local artists adorned the walls of the Avon River Heritage Society Museum. While providing professional and novice artists the opportunity to display and sell their work, the Great Little Art Show enables the public to appreciate the vast number of talented artists that live in and around the community.
The Great Little Art Show is an important fund raising event. Funds raised through the show provide the Avon River Heritage Society with the necessary capital required for the continued operation of the museum.
Renowned local painter Audrey Goucher was selected as this years guest speaker and talked about her life as an artist. (see page 28)
The show ran from April 23 until April 25.
