Smokin' hot car!

The Hantsport Fire Department has been busy the past couple of days. On Monday evening, March 3, firefighters assisted on a Mutual Aid call to Wolfville for a house

fire on the Ridge Rd. Hantsport Volunteer Fire Dept. sent a pumper and tanker to the scene and a second pumper to cover the Wolfville station during the incident. Another call occurred March 4 on the Bishopville Road. Hantsport firefighters responded to a fully engulfed car fire. The first responding units extinguished the fire quickly and no injuries were reported. It’s believed that a mechanical malfunction caused the fire, which

destroyed the car.
