Windsor RMCP responded to a serious single motor vehicle collision on the 101 eastbound near St. Croix. The crash occurred around 7:30 August 4, between exits 4 & 5.

RCMP say the sole male occupant of a vehicle crossed the highway onto the westbound shoulder of the road, striking two parked vehicles. The vehicle then flipped several times before landing on its side. The driver, believed to be in his 30s, was airlifted to the QEII Hospital in Halifax with serious but undetermined injuries. The 101 was closed for approximately two hours.

RCMP report that alcohol did not play a factor in the collision and matter is still under investigation.
