Pierce Brosnan is the star of an upcoming TV miniseries that had the former 007 actor on location at Shirley’s Pizza in Brooklyn last week.
Brosnan will portray the character of Mike Noonan, a troubled writer coping with the sudden death of his beloved wife, in an adaptation of Stephen King’s best seller Bag of Bones.
The miniseries, directed by Mick Garris, is expected to run in two parts on A&E in late 2011.
Filming of the Sony Pictures Television production is scheduled to wrap in Nova Scotia Sept. 28.
Brosnan, who posed for some photo ops with excited locals between takes, finished filming in Brooklyn Aug. 26.
A representative from Sony Pictures Television Halifax office declined to comment on the production process when invited to do so Aug. 26. Brosnan was also unavailable for comment as a publicist was not present on set.
