Overnight May 15, a four by six-foot garbage shed was blown up on the Cheverie property of Kings-Hants MP Scott Brison.

Pieces of the shed were tossed as far as 15 metres away.

Brison said May 17 the RCMP are treating the incident seriously. An investigation into the suspicious blaze is continuing. He admitted the vandalism was disquieting, whether the perpetrators were perhaps homophobic or political motivated - or both.

Windsor RCMP ask anyone with information on the individuals responsible or who may have seen suspicious vehicles in the area to contact the detachment, 798-2207, or Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). A Crime Stoppers tip that leads to an arrest  could qualify a caller for a cash award between $50 and $2,000.
