Cory Sanford, of the Windsor Knights, mans the barbecue early Sunday morning. The Knights hosted a weekend barbecue at the Sam Slick Coach House as a fundraiser for the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League team. They also held a washer toss tournament.

Nine-year-old Fraser Murray, of Scotch Village, knows his way around a track. The pre-teen racer has been competing with the Atlantic Motorsports Karting Association since he was seven. He’s currently leading the novice division (ages eight to 12) in points this year. Murray was on hand at the 5th annual Fraser Hood’s Tuner Car Show Aug. 5 to show off his ride.
