The Windsor Royals held their annual year-end banquet March 28 at the Spitfire Arms Pub.

Five players received their jerseys and a team photograph as they will no longer be able to play in the Nova Scotia Jr. B Hockey League. The players were Captain Erik Jackaman, Assistant Captain JF Lefort, goaltender Tyler Whynot, defenseman Jordan Morash and right winger Ryan Getson.

Getson and Jackaman tied for the Top Scorer Award, both earning 35 points during the regular season, and Morash was named Top Defenseman.

Jeffrey Longaphy received the Top Rookie Award and Allan Power took home the Most Improved Award.

The Player's Choice Award went to Nathan Little while the Most Valuable Player Award went to goaltender Jacob McKendry.

For their long-time support of the Windsor Royals, Fred Marshall and Brad Hazel received commemorative plaques.
