Man accused of 2013 Sudds homicide makes first court appearance in Halifax
A man charged for the murder of Matthew Sudds made his first appearance in court Tuesday morning.

KENTVILLE, NS - A Dempsey’s Corner man facing a child luring charge will be back in court later this month for election and plea.
Anthony Scott Chandler, 30, was not present in Kentville provincial court on March 14. A warrant is being held to March 23, when Chandler is scheduled to appear for election and plea. The court has ordered a publication ban to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
Chandler is charged with, by means of telecommunication, communicating with a person who was - or who he believed to be - under the age of 18 for the purpose of facilitating an offence under Section 163.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada. This section relates to child pornography.
It’s alleged that Chandler committed the offence in Dempsey’s Corner between June 19 and July 12, 2016. The charge has not been proven in court.
