Boy reports finding pin in ice cream cake bought in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, NS - Police say a nine-year-old boy noticed a pin when he took a bite of an ice cream cake this week. 

Halifax Regional Police were contacted by a parent at 9:26 a.m. on Thursday. The parent reported their son found a straight pin in a piece of the cake, which had been purchased at a Main Street, Dartmouth Dairy Queen the night before. The boy wasn’t injured.
