Emergency personnel were called to Avon View at 2:05 p.m. and remained on scene until after 3 p.m. for a vehicle-pedestrian collision.
In a press release, RCMP say a 17-year-old boy was injured in the school parking lot after he became trapped under the front of a vehicle. Windsor RCMP, the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, and paramedics attended the scene.
The boy has been transported to hospital in Halifax via LifeFlight for treatment of what is believed to be serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved has been arrested. An RCMP Traffic Analyst has been called to examine the scene.
The Windsor RCMP is investigating the incident. Emergency vehicles could be seen on scene until after 3 p.m.
