Wondering what to do this weekend? The Intermediate AAA baseball provincials continue tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 1, in Windsor and in Hantsport and wrap up on Sunday, Sept. 2.

In local baseball action, the Windsor Knights will take on the Noel Road Blue Jays at 9 a.m. Saturday in Windsor and will follow that up with a game against the Halifax Outlaws at 11:30 a.m., also in Windsor.

The Knights surprised the Hantsport Shamrocks in their first game of the provincials on Friday, Aug. 31, with a 9-3 victory.

The Shamrocks, who won the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League title last weekend, will host Noel Road at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and will take on the Outlaws at 5 p.m.

There are two divisions competing for the provincial title, each representing four teams. Hantsport, Windsor, Noel Road and the Halifax Outlaws are in one of the divisions.

On Sunday, the first place team in Pool A will take on the second place team in Pool B at 9 a.m. in Hantsport. The second place team in Pool A will then take on the first place team in Pool B at noon. The championship game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
