The 2023 NBA Draft will bring a new breed of young talent to the league.
French sensibility Victor Wembayama leads the San Antonio Spurs with the first overall pick.
But beyond the first pick, a handful of lottery teams have the opportunity to add a difference-making prospect, while other teams strike gold on a rookie with untapped potential.
Alabama’s Brandon Miller is projected to go No. 2 overall to the Charlotte Hornets by our NBA draft experts Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Wu. But G League Ignite guard Scott Henderson is right behind Miller and the decision could come down to the wire.
Villanova’s Cam Whitmore and Overtime Elite’s duo of Amen and Auser Thompson are projected high lottery picks.

The 19-year-old, who Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James called a “generational talent,” has not disappointed for Metropolitan 92 this season in Paris. He led his team to the finals, was named league MVP and never missed a game. All season. With the NBA ahead of him, Vembaniyama has a chance to become one of the faces of the league once he joins the Spurs this October.

Where are other top NBA prospects expected to land?
Wembaniyama has been a lock for San Antonio since the Spurs won the draft lottery on May 16. The No. 2 pick is still up for debate as Miller has been active since last month, but G League Ignite guard Scott Henderson impressed during his workout with the Charlotte Hornets and is still in the mix. Thompson Twins no. 4 and 5 have a chance to make it to the top five if selected through back-to-back selection.
