Chamber of Commerce looks at proposed tax changes in Coldbrook session.

COLDBROOK, NS – The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a town hall meeting this week on the proposed changes to the taxation of small business.

On Thursday, Sept. 21 the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce (AVCC) will help inform businesses in the region about the issue that could have significant impact on all Annapolis Valley businesses and this economy.
The AVCC will have an expert panel on hand to answer questions and clarify how these proposed changes will affect Valley businesses.
President Jeremy Lutes says, “Over 90 per cent of AVCC’s membership of nearly 400 are small and medium sized businesses, we need to make sure they are informed.”
MP’s Scott Brison from Kings Hants and Colin Fraser from West Nova have been invited to attend.
The town hall meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Coldbrook and District Lions Hall, South Bishop Rd., Coldbrook.
