James Bell left his residence on Prospect Road on January 4 at noon. He was given a drive to Berwick and was last seen walking along Orchard Street at 2:30 p.m.
An initial news release from the Kings RCMP indicated that Bell was last seen at 1 p.m. However, further information has indicated that he was last seen later in the day. Bell has not been seen since.
Since then, the Valley Search and Rescue team, supported by the Annapolis Valley and West Hants ground search and rescue teams, were involved in searching for him. An RCMP helicopter and police dog services have also searched multiple areas.
The RCMP and the family and friends of Bell continue to be concerned for his safety and encourage anyone who has information about his whereabouts to contact Kings District RCMP at 902- 679-5555.
