Cowboy Harrison Czapalay needs a favour.
The well-loved autism advocate is extending a Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness challenge to each and every resident and business in the Annapolis Valley.
Czapalay, who was diagnosed when he was three, wants to see blue lights shining throughout the Valley for World Autism Awareness Day April 2.
Supporters can also wear blue to mark the occasion that is near and dear to Czapalay’s heart.
Often spotted in his signature cowboy hat, he raises funds for Autism Nova Scotia and Acadia’s S.M.I.L.E. program through co-ordinating Wolfville’s annual Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness events.
There will be a charity barbecue at Clock Park in Wolfville March 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
